Using Google Earth

You will need to download and install Google Earth Pro (free), then down load KML files (Downloads tab).  If you are lucky, your Google Earth will look something like this:

You can click on a marker to bring up the diary entry for that day
Highlight a folder like East then play a tour by clicking the folder icon to the far right of the magnifying glass.

If you expand a folder and highlight the track symbol

 The icon changes to a track, and you can make a movie without diary entries.  Experiment with speed angle and tons of other parameters in the Preferences menu
